[Newscast] The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo Delays Dream House

Reshoots and Daniel Craig's scheduling problems push the movie back…

Universal is pushing back the supernatural thriller Dream House indefinitely. The film requires some reshoots involving Craig, Rachel Weisz and Naomi Watts, but Craig is currently committed to The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo and won't be able to free up time until the first couple of weeks of December, which makes the previously-scheduled February 18th release date impossible. Universal is working with production company Morgan Creek for a new release date in 2011.

The film's plot revolves around a family that unknowingly moves into a home where several grisly murders were committed. As Will (Craig) investigates the tragedy, he finds the only information comes from a neighbor (Watts) who was close to the family.
