[Article] Naomi: Being A Mom Is The "Most Rewarding Thing"

Naomi Watts is a busy woman. Besides raising sons Sasha, 3, and Kai, 22-months with fiancé Liev Schreiber, she's also filming The Impossible with Ewan McGregor and promoting her new film Fair Game about outed CIA spy Valerie Plame. But Naomi makes it clear what her number one priority is.

"I love being a mum. I just love it. It's the most rewarding thing but the most challenging thing."

It's also apparent that Naomi is a very hands-on parent, as evidenced by her exhausting play schedule with her active sons. "I know all the playgrounds very well," she says. "On the weekends, we tend to spend the whole day outside. We ride bikes on the West Side Highway. We go up to the park. There's a little children's museum (downtown) and we go there. We went to the carousel. We go to Chelsea Piers. There's endless things to do."

And when it comes time to get to work, Naomi and Liev are fortunate to be able to take their kids to work with them. "When you're on the job, your kids come to the office, so to speak," Naomi continues. "They can hang out. It gets boring quick for them, but a lot of parents have regular work hours, and they're lucky if they get morning and bedtime with their children. We love what we do, but our kids are with us, always."
