Naomi Watts says moving back to Australia might be a topic she'll bring up with husband Liev Schreiber soon.
The actress surprised guests of Audi Hamilton Island Race Week last night by flying in for a degustation dinner hosted by Melbourne chef Shannon Bennett at luxury resort Qualia.
Watts is in Australia for a couple of weeks with Liev, who's filming on the Gold Coast, and their two children, Alexander and Samuel.
She said at the dinner, where she was announced as Audi's newest ambassador, that it was a quick visit before the boys go back to school.
"I'm on a nice well-needed, well-deserved break - mummy time for me," she said.
Watts, 43, said she wasn't currently working on any film projects and that her family was her biggest focus.
When asked if she would consider moving back to Australia anytime soon, she said: "It's a great place for children, we'll see. Not right now (but) we'll see.
"It might be a conversation worth bringing up soon with Liev (but) he's pretty attached to New York because of the theatre."
Other special guests at the dinner were television personalities Catriona Rowntree and Kelly Landry, actor Les Hill and fashion designer Collette Dinnigan.

What that mean? She will retire from cinema for a time?
Australia IS her home!
