Outing with Sam - Oct 8, 2011

Holding Sam in her arm, Naomi looked to be going on a long journey as she had several bags carried by assistants from her apartment to the car, sighted Fri, Oct 8, 2011.

Going shopping with a big bag

Here, our beautiful and lovely Naomi was going out shopping with a big bag looking very cute and happy. After shopping she hailed a taxi home. We do not know exactly the date of this outing and guess it was either the 6th or the 7th of Oct, 2011.

The photo on the left is one that can be used as a commercial ad in my view coz it is so chic and atmospheric with a camera look on her face which I think is priceless.

Family walk & a visit to the fire station on Oct 6, 2011

Dream come true: Liev took Sasha and Sam to visit a fire station in New York's East Village on Oct 6, 2011 while Naomi, looking lovely in khaki trousers, black and white spotted shirt and chunky boots, waited on the side. Most little boys love to admire a toy fire-engine and this day was their lucky day.

The family also had a nice walk earlier in the city and after the visit to the fire station, took a taxi ride home.

Interview: Actress Rachel G. Fox on Dream House & working w/Naomi

What was the most challenging and/or enjoyable aspect of playing the daughter of Naomi Watts' character?

The most challenging aspect of playing Naomi Watts’ daughter is the barely-existing-pressure to play a troubled teenager who, on the one hand is distant from her mother, but on the other hand, is still connected enough so the film audience believes and knows that Chloe Patterson (Rachel G. Fox) is Ann Patterson’s (Watts') daughter.

The most enjoyable aspect of playing Watts’ daughter is the experience of working with Miss Naomi, absorbing her peaceful and polished approach to her work. Working with Miss Naomi, I never felt stressed or uncomfortable, but always moved to be at the top of my intensity and focus in a correct and peaceful way.

Naomi Watts

On her breakthrough role in Mulholland Drive: “It was a game-changer, but I knew I had to be careful. You can get a lot of attention and still be gone in a flash.”

On what made her want to become an actress: “One of the things was seeing the movie Fame, as cheesy as that sounds. I was like, That looks fun! It wasn’t that I wanted to be famous. I just wanted to go to acting class.”

Stars Will Read Amazon Unit’s New Audio Book Series

By JULIE BOSMAN, NYtimes

Would you listen to a recording of “The End of the Affair” that lasted hours? What if Colin Firth were reading it?

Audible, an audio book division of Amazon.com, said last week that it would introduce a line of audio books read by famous actors, including Naomi Watts (“Summer,” by Edith Wharton), Dustin Hoffman (“Being There,” by Jerzy Kosinski), Annette Bening (“Mrs. Dalloway,” by Virginia Woolf), Samuel L. Jackson (“A Rage in Harlem,” by Chester Himes) and Kim Basinger (“The Awakening,” by Kate Chopin).

The actors helped select the books they will read, making choices because they wanted “to inhabit a character that has always fascinated them, show a different side of themselves from what audiences have seen on camera or tell a personally beloved story,” said a statement from Audible. More books in the series are expected to be introduced throughout 2012.
