[Naomi Watts] "Blonde" Update

No Marilyn for Naomi ... yet

While Naomi Watts is fresh from starring as Princess Diana in the biopic Diana, which is due out later this year, it could be a while before she plays another famous blonde - Marilyn Monroe. Speaking before the Oscars, the star of The Impossible said that contrary to reports, Andrew Dominik's Blonde would not necessarily be her next movie. ''It's sort of been bubbling around for a long time so I just don't know if it's going to happen right away,'' she said. ''It's based on the Joyce Carol Oates novel, so it's not like an 'America's darling' picture. It's a more twisted version of that.'' Watts (right), a fashion standout in Armani at the Oscars, said she was not yet sure about her next role. ''I'm chilling out for now,'' she said.
