The Oscar-winning documentary filmmaker is making his narrative debut with the thriller.
Naomi Watts is boarding Holland, Michigan, the narrative directorial debut of documentarian Errol Morris.
Le Grisbi and Cross Creek are behind the movie, which is scheduled to start production in April.
The script is described as Fargo-esque. The film is a thriller centering on a woman who suspects her husband is cheating. She begins an affair of her own, eventually discovering that her husband is a serial killer.
Watts is hitting screens with Diana, Oliver Hirschbiegel’s take on Princess Diana’s love affair with Dr. Hasnat Khan. The actress just wrapped Vincent De Van Nuys with Bill Murray.
Morris is in Toronto to debut his latest doc, The Unknown Known, which focuses on former secretary of defense Donald Rumsfeld.
