The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has announced that the Australian star Simon Baker of the hit TV series, The Mentalist, will receive a star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame on Feb 14, and his good friend Naomi Watts and Bruno Heller, executive producer of The Mentalist, will present him the star.
Simon Baker co-starred with Naomi as her boss in The Ring 2 , a role and job introduced and mediated by his long-time good friend as reported.

Here’s a shout-out for Naomi Watts, and I am afraid she'll need it. She's the sole Oscar nominee from director J.A. Bayona’s The Impossible, and that means she has a real uphill climb for a win. Watts is up against four other nominees in the Best Actress category — Jennifer Lawrence (Silver Linings Playbook), Jessica Chastain (Zero Dark Thirty), Emmanuelle Riva (Amour) and 9-year old Quvenzhane Wallis (Beasts Of The Southern Wild) — whose movies have the additional momentum of a Best Picture nomination. It's a huge disadvantage now that the Academy at large is voting, not just the actors branch.
Although a big hit in Bayona’s native Spain, The Impossible — which tells the story of a family fighting to survive the catastrophic Thailand tsunami of 2004 — underperformed in its U.S. run. The movie's mid-December opening, which took place the same week that Academy balloting began, didn't help its Oscar chances either. That Watts made the Best Actress short list at all is a testament to her gritty, visceral performance, which she has described as the most physically challenging movie of her career. The last and only time Nicole Kidman and Naomi Watts appeared in a movie together was in the 1991 indie Flirting.
Considering what besties they are, one would think they would have reunited on the big screen by now.
Sadly, they haven't. But it's not like they don't want to.
"We're looking," Kidman told me at the Producers Guild of America Awards.
In fact, Watts added, "We've been looking for a long time now. But both of us have…picky tastes. It has to be the right piece."
Kidman pleaded with a smile, "Somebody think of something, please!"
Not that the two aren't busy enough. Both just wrapped films in which they play two of the most iconic princesses in modern history. Kidman stars as Grace Kelly in Grace of Monaco and Watts as Princess Diana in Diana.
"You said we were going to have a princess party," Kidman said to Watts.
Watts quickly responded, "I was joking, but maybe we'll have a tea party kind of thing."

Naomi Watts was moved to tears after it was announced that she is nominated for an Oscar for her performance in “The Impossible,” but it was not because of the Academy’s recognition of her acting skills.
The movie is based on a true story. Watts and Ewan McGregor play a husband and wife who go on vacation with their children in Thailand and then become separated after the devastating tsunami that destroyed parts of the area in 2004.
The actress has been keeping in touch with the woman who inspired her character, Spanish doctor Maria Belon, and said she contacted her on the day of the Oscar nominations, on January 10. (...read more after the jump)

Liev Schreiber and Naomi Watts do enjoy stepping out to an awards show ? but it's not exactly a romantic evening away from the kids.
"It's not really what I would call a date night. It's a good room of people," Watts, 44, told PEOPLE Sunday on the red carpet at the Screen Actors Guild Awards, where she was a nominee for outstanding female lead actor for her role in the film The Impossible.
"It's great seeing my wife dressed up," Schreiber, 45, said, after being asked about how fabulous she looked, sparkling in a strapless gown by Marchesa, set off with Christian Louboutin heels, a Salvatore Ferragamo clutch and Fabergé earrings.
While the pair ? who have two sons, Sasha, 5½, and Kai, 4 ? looked luminous together on the red carpet, the time it takes to get ready is long for her and short for him.
"Two hours, that's all. It's too much time otherwise," Watts, an Academy Award nominee, said of her routine, which includes a certain beauty treatment.
"I always do a nice scrub on my face with a Clarisonic and I drink two liters of water and that helps the skin," she adds.
Meanwhile, Schreiber jokes, "I wait. I wait, play with the kids and I time it. Fifteen minutes before it's time to go I start [to get ready]."

And the beauty that has helped her land some of her plum roles was obvious as she enjoyed a family fun day at the beach in Los Angeles on Saturday.
The glamorous blonde dressed down for the occasion, but her natural good looks shone through as she plodded around the sand in the trendy Santa Monica area of the city with her gorgeous two boys.
The English rose was joined on the day out with her boys Alexander and Samuel, with a mystery playmate dragged along to the occasion for good measure.
Naomi, 44, looked in fine figure in a mumsy ensemble of wool pink pullover, blue jeans and a fetching fedora hat.
And it seems she decided her four and five-year-olds, whose father is her partner Liev Schreiber, should be a matching pair, as they wore almost identical grey T-shirts.
It was Naomi's younger boy who was the more adventurous, persuading his mother to let him walk along a high wall as they enjoyed a stroll together.
Simply stunning: Naomi looked beautiful in simple cuffed jeans and a sweater.
