Matthew McConaughey returned from the Emmy defeated but rewarded by getting to work with the gorgeous Naomi Watts.

It's official: After months of speculation, Naomi Watts is starring alongside Matthew McConaughey in upcoming film Sea Of Trees. The two actors are starring alongside each other.

When Naomi was spotted on set on Wednesday, she was wearing a smart blouse and fitted grey trousers, suggesting her character may be a professional of some sort.

She is looking down-to-earth in character.

I wonder about the size of her role, as opposed to MM. Anyone?

It kind of annoys me that Naomi has got her hair cut again. Shes't not that old!!!!! When will she let it grow againn??

And her role is supproting. According to May reports she would appear in flashbacks. But a very important one.

Flashback roles are not necessarily supporting. Take for example Janet Leigh in Hitchcock's Psycho﹐a classic one.

I would say hers and McC's are co-leading in this movie.

Stella, your example may not be the best, the best one is Orson Welles in Citizen Kane (1941). Also, Jodie Foster's character in Stealing Home (1988).

Interesting topic about flashbacks. I have a good one, which is Italian film "Twice Born" where Emile Hirsch's character is all lead, or a co-lead with Penelope Cruz's, but appears throughout the entire movie in flashbacks only.

And remember most recently Alec Baldwin in Blue Jasmine.
