First and exclusive again for members of the [NW2005] Group, this is a first look at Naomi as Melissa from the set of "Sunlight Jr.".
The small independent film, co-starring Matt Dillon and Norman Reedus and directed by Laurie Collyer, is currently in post-production stage. It tells the sad story of a couple dealing with an unexpected pregnancy while holding minimum wage jobs. Naomi works as a sale clerk in a convenience store in Florida.

Just heard this film will debut in Cannes.
She began with making independent films like Ellie Parker, and it's indeed respectable that she can still make this kind of films.
I stumbled across your blog when I was searching for updates on the movie. I had the honor to meet Naomi Watts in person during the filming in Florida. She is a very sweet woman but very shy and quiet. To tell you the truth I had a hard time separating the film crew from the actors. She looks very different in person compared to photos online.
