Naomi on Aussie TVs for charity cause - Nov 16 (videos)

Naomi has flown down to her homeland Australia getting ready to walk the red carpet of her new movie "The Impossible" premiere to benefit the Tsunami victims as we've posted earlier. While there, she is spending time to also attend to a few publicity & charity events one of which is the "Donate Your Hair" Beautiful Lengths Campaign for cancer patients sponsored by Pantene of which Naomi is their Ambassador. In connection with this, Naomi appeared yesterday on the Aussie Sunrise TV & Channel 9 TV respectively where she also talked about her 2 upcoming movies ie. "The Impossible" and "Diana". Below is her TV appearance, brought to you first-hand as usual by us the 24/7 updating-on-Naomi site.

Naomi Watts wants your ponytail for Pantene's Beautiful Lengths campaign

If you've been inspired by Miley Cyrus's fashion-forward undercut or even Michelle Williams's gamine crop, wait! Pantene's Beautiful Lengths campaign, which launches today, gives you the perfect excuse to not only get a new look but also donate your hair to an amazing cause — making real-hair wigs for Australian women undergoing cancer treatment.

Naomi Watts is lending a touch of A-list glamour to National Donate Your Hair Week (starting November 12), in association with cancer charity Look Good, Feel Better, which has a long tradition in Australia of teaching women going through cancer treatment how to use restorative beauty techniques. The actress will hit up Sydney to encourage women to donate their ponytails to the cause. Until then, make sure you enforce a strict no-scissors policy!

"I'm really proud to be part of Pantene Beautiful Lengths and bring this fantastic cause home to Australia. If we can support women undergoing cancer treatment by donating our hair, that’s a difference I hope many of us will make," Watts says of the initiative which originated in the US in 2006 and has already seen over 300,000 ponytails donated to create 18,000 real wigs.
