[NW2005 1stLOOK] The alleged "walk out' radio interview of Naomi Watts with BBC Radio 5

Earlier this week, a spokesperson for Entertainment One said: “Simon Mayo acted unprofessionally following an interview last week with Naomi Watts, star of the film Diana.

“After completing the interview Simon Mayo tweeted that Naomi walked out on his interview.

“This was factually incorrect as she did not walk out and Simon Mayo was not even in the same room whilst interviewing Naomi.”

As reported, eOne Studio have since banned Radio 5 from any future interviewing of any of their movie talents.

I can understand why she felt uncomfortable. It felt more like an interrogation than an interview, with questions about her sources, if they had authorization or not and so on, rather than focusing on the performance. Poor Naomi :(

The interviewer shouldn't have questioned or assumed the location filming in front of the Buckingham Palace was with or without permission...obviously by implication he was trying to mock at Naomi's earlier saying that she had had Diana's permission in a dream to play her in the film. Shame is on him.
