Naomi Watts with screen boyfriend on the set of "Three Generations"

Naomi Watts joined by on-screen boyfriend Tate Donovan as he makes first appearance on set of transgender drama Three Generations

She plays a mother struggling to understand her teen daughter’s gender transition to male.

And it appears that Naomi Watts is not alone in her emotional journey, as actor Tate Donovan, who plays her boyfriend, was by her side.

The 46-year-old beauty filmed what looked like dramatic new scenes Tuesday with the 51-year-old Argo actor in New York City for her new movie Three Generations.
