On January 18th, Naomi Watts appeared on stage in Macau, China to accept top honors in person in front of a live audience at the 15th Annual Huading Awards. The Huading Awards are China’s premier awards show where the honorees are determined by fan votes, and the winners are recognized as the best from various genres of entertainment, including film, television, dance, theater and music.

Naomi Watts graciously collected her accolade for Best Global Actress in Motion Pictures at China’s 15th Huading Awards in Macau on Sunday.

The Australian actress looked glamorous in a striking full-length purple asymmetric gown, with frill detail and later added a customary yellow sash as she collected the gong.

This show was broadcast on more than 800 million households. It is sad that most Chinese use local social networks such as weibo, qq, but not twitter, instagram, facebook. It would be interesting to read reviews on this show and reviews on movies with my favorite Naomi. Culture in their country is still different.
