Naomi Watts says the worst part of awards season is the heels.
The 46-year-old star's fans will no doubt disagree, as would companies such as Ann Taylor and Thierry Mugler, who have used the actress in campaigns.
Her latest turn in front of the camera is for a good cause, with Naomi joining 250 fellow A-listers, among them Jon Hamm and Ricky Martin, for the Stop. Think. Give. initiative.
Naomi, who is the cover girl, and the others were photographed by Fabrizio Ferri for a book commissioned by Bulgari for charity Save the Children. And she's pleased the man behind the lens is so good at his job.
“He knew exactly what he wanted and the lighting was perfect... and I’m not easy to light these days," she smiled to Fashionista......
It's hard to see what the pretty blonde is worried about, as she looked amazing at the event to celebrate the initiative in Los Angeles earlier this week. She stunned in a cream Antonio Berardi dress with ruffle detail at the top. Naomi accessorised with strappy black sandals and a matching clutch - and of course a Bulgari necklace.
While she looks all about the glitz and glamour, dressing up for awards season doesn't come naturally to her.
“The worst thing about award shows is the shoes," she sighed.
While many stars wear heels all year, Naomi prefers comfort and feels out of practice by the time the events roll around.
So far, Bulgari has managed to raise more than $35million for Save the Children.
