We know her as the ultra-glamorous movie star. And this week, actress Naomi Watts thrilled her fans on social media when she gave an insight into her life before fame and her childhood, sharing to Instagram a sweet flashback picture of herself from her school days.
The 47-year-old actress can be seen in her uniform and with dark blonde hair and a fringe, and captioned the shot: 'Throwback Thursday. School photo. 1980-something ?? #tomboy #dork #tbt.'
Naomi, who is known for films including The Ring and King Kong, grins for the camera that appears to be for a school yearbook She has rosy cheeks and a wispy short bob, and wore a series of earrings. The star had on a white collared shirt with a grey jumper on top. 'I'm a tomboy myself; I am very sporty,' she said at the time.
The blonde beauty is currently filming the upcoming drama The Book of Henry, and plays a single mother with two young boys.
