A big star with an even bigger heart: Naomi Watts is jetting Down Under in November to flip burgers for charity as a ambassador for McDonald's annual McHappy Day

Hollywood star Naomi Watts has been announced as the 2018 McHappy Day ambassador.

The two-time Oscar nominee will jet Down Under next month to flip burgers at the annual Ronald McDonald House charity drive which raises funds towards supporting the families of seriously ill children.

The mum-of-two, who recently celebrated turning 50, said she was honoured to accept the role.
