Always where the action is, on Sun, May 19, Naomi Watts was on hand at the “For the Love of Cinema” event in Antibes, France.

Looking lovely in a strapless black frock with floral detail, the Oscar-nominated actress took in the scene at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc, while the “Social Network” cutie worked the crowd in a black-and-white dress and dark red lipstick.

Held as part of the 66th Annual Cannes Film Festival, the evening was sponsored by the Swiss luxury watch maker IWC Schaffhausen.

From mother to movie star: Naomi Watts jets to French Riviera with her boys... before turning on the glam at Cannes watch party


Overnight on Saturday, Naomi Watts was no doubt having a tough time flying long-haul with her two young sons from New York to France.

However, after dressing down while on parenting duty, the British-Australian actress really turned on the glam on Sunday night.



The Oscar-nominated star, 44, looked stunning in a black floral-print prom dress as she arrived at a star-studded party hosted by Swiss watch company IWC Schaffhausen.

Despite having arrived into Nice airport earlier that day, the mother-of-two looked fresh-faced and youthful as she arrived at the For The Love Of Cinema at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes - just down the road from Cannes.

She teamed her gown with a pair of high heeled sandals and gold jewellery, with her hair in a relaxed updo with loose curls.

Her chic appearance was in contrast to her suitably relaxed ensemble of rolled up jeans, T-shirt and cardigan as she walked through Nice airport on Sunday morning.

Naomi is in Cannes to promote her upcoming film biopic on tragic British royal Diana, Princess Of Wales.
